A visit to Italy without visiting the Alfa Museum is like a meal without pasta .
Come on don’t disapoint me I am coming in September .
It seems you will have to wait until summer 2015…
But I agree with you, this museum is fantastic I live close to it, in Arese.
Any update available on the reopening of the museum? I visited in the 80s’ would love to do so again… regardless that it’s now part of FIAT, Alfa is still the brand most of the world associates with Italian flair and style!
Yes, at last there’s news!
It would be great to have a Alfa Romeo museum again at the place of origin of so many great cars! what can we expect Alfa Romeo? Best regards, Léon
Does anybody know what date the museum will open in 2015
The date is not known yet.
Thanks – if by chance you hear, can you please keep me posted?
I’ll try to put the news on this site as soon as the official announcement is published by Alfa Romeo.

Why is it that I visited the museum in August 1975 on a Monday having been in Milano the day before. On Sunday, I went to the DaVinci museum and to see the “last supper” in a little church(actually a convent). 2 of the 3 of these were closed! A caretaker let us into the chapel of the church. In Arese, one of the officials in the office got the key and let me roam around. I was even able to sit in one of the Nuvolari or Fangio grand prix cars. I’m curious how I did this when all the press on this says the Alfa museum opened in December 1976.
Well, the museum wasn’t just there in a blink of an eye, so I think you were lucky to be admitted before the opening. Also this summer a couple of people had the opportunity to visit the museum before the re-opening.
