The Museu da Tecnologia da Ulbra in Canoas (Rio Grande do Sul state) was permanently closed down in 2009. The museum was owned by the Universidade Luterana do Brasil and was meant to be the largest in its kind in Latin America.
The collection counted some 270 cars. One of them was an Alfa Romeo 2300 Ti from 1982. Due to financial problems Ulbra was forced to sell the collection. (More information on Ulbra in Portuguese)
